Five Month Milo

“Our main role as parents is to create memories for our children.”

While watching the movie Interstellar, I heard the quote above and it really stuck with me. I thought so much about my own childhood and how fortunate I was that my parents created such a rich landscape of memories for me. I am so honored to be able to pass this gift onto Milo.

A lot of my favorite memories are steeped in our family traditions. Thanksgiving continues to be my favorite holiday with my family. The holiday is 100% about togetherness and gratitude. It is an entire afternoon spent cooking, drinking, sharing, and laughing followed by the best meal I eat all year at a table with my entire family. Being away from them most of the year in Colorado makes this particular day one of the best days each year.
